Since 1979, David Stanley's South Pacific Handbook has been used by tens of thousands of SouthPacific travelers. This site gathers excerpts from Stanley's travel guides, and introduces you to other websites of Pacific interest. Pacific Linguistics Publishers

Pacific Linguistics is a publisher specialising in linguistic descriptions, dictionaries, atlases, bibliographies and other materials concerned with languages of the Pacific, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Southeast Asia and minority languages of South and East Asia. We focus on data-oriented papers on little known languages in this region as well as on teaching materials in the region’s major lingua francas.
