Centre for the Contemporary Pacific
The Centre for the Contemporary Pacific at the Australian National University
offers excellent resources and facilities for research in the Pacific
Islands region. Since the foundation of the University, the area has been
a major focus of interest, and the University has achieved international

Centre for Pacific and Asian Studies
The Centre for Pacific and Asian Studies (CPAS) at the University of Nijmegen,
the Netherlands, was established in 1991. Developed from the former Centre
for Australian and Oceanic Studies, the CPAS has an interdisciplinary
character and covers Oceania, including Australia and New Zealand, Continental

Marshall Islands Statistics

Terralink NZ Ltd
Terralink NZ Limited has its origins in the former Department of Survey
and Land Information (DOSLI) which underwent a major transformation into
two new organisations on 1 July 1996. Terralink, a State Owned Enterprise
has acquired the commercial functions of DOSLI, while Land Information
New Zealand (LINZ) is now responsible for policy and regulatory functions.
Terralink will continue to produce the InfoMap topographic map series
and maintain the topographic data base. It will also continue to maintain
the Crown's Geodetic survey control network. Both of these tasks will
be carried out on contract to LINZ. Other commercial activities include
survey services, mapping, property services and geographic information
systems (GIS) solutions. Terralink is now the largest surveying organisation
